Portrait of Vengeance

portrait of vengeance    Secrets never stayed buried.

Gwen Marcey knows pain, and she knows how to keep it boxed up. However, when a new case demands her attention, details keep surfacing that are too similar to her childhood trauma. Gwen does not believe this is just coincidence. She can no longer ignore her past. She needs to face it and put the dots together before another family is shattered.

The Gwen Marcey series has quickly become a favorite. I love her attention to details. I admire the characters for being human, for having talent and flaws. I hope there will be more in this series. This particular book is #4 in the series (I have accidentally read them out of order, lol)

*I received this book free from Thomas Nelson and The Fiction Guild in exchange for my honest review. What I have expressed are entirely my own thoughts. I was not compensated in any way*
