Book Review, Books and Reading

Reclaiming Shilo Snow

Seven months!! I had to wait only seven months for the book to arrive in my mailbox. If you remember, I reviewed the first book, The Evaporation of Sofi Snow, in January and inhaled it in days. Here is the link for the first book, https://kymberlibriggs.wordpress.com/2018/02/22/the-evaporation-of-sofi-snow/  Anywho, on with my review….

At the end of “Evaporation” we were left with Sofi on the alien planet of Delon who was looking for her brother, Shilo. Everyone said he was dead but Sofi believed differently. In this very awesome sequel, Sofi is on a rescue mission, determined to find Shilo no matter what. However, the longer she is on Delon the more her memories of a buried past threaten to destroy her, mentally and physically. She also discovers a dark secret about the aliens that could threaten mankind.

I don’t want to give too much away because I do not want to ruin the story for anyone. This is the type of story that you want to go into with little knowledge of the plot. I will tell you I highly enjoyed it. It did not disappoint in any way. I also like how the author, Mary Weber, incorporated a very serious epidemic we are facing right now in this world- human trafficking. I can’t tell you anymore, other than to get your own copy of this series and read it!

*I received this book free from Thomas Nelson and The Fiction Guild in exchange for my honest review. What I have expressed are entirely my own thoughts. I have not been compensated in any monetary way*

Parental Guidance- PG13 for intense scenes and content
